    canelo fights at 160

    spence fights at 147

spence vs canelo isnt something that can even be thought about for another 3 years minimum

no welterweight should sign with gbp. they have nobody for you to fight.

Ok i just read the rumor about the 3.5 mill but i bet that's not going to happen unless haymons doing it for one fight to keep him from signing elsewhere which i guess is possible, if he gets it that is great for errol spence

By your logic because the masses doesnt know him its because of him not having one of these greedy promoters but insinuated not having a promoter despite non exposure is getting fast money. Hmmm

UFC promotes their fighters they don’t just show their fights on free tv that’s why they can build a no name quickly. Spense can make good money but can be built to make great money. He needs to be promoted.
But it's obvious he's not motivated by money as he stated. He fights cotto then who........oscar has no ww to offer after cotto. Now he stuck with 3 fights or so and no porter, Garcia, Thurman, etc.....

Oscar would’ve given Spence any more exposure than Al Harmon’s alreading getting him.By Spence eventually moving into 154 he could possibly get a mega fight with Canelo which Oscar wouold never had allowed under his banner.

why are ppl just assuming he would've won. this would be a toss up fight. bad move by spence this would've been his biggest platform to showcase his talent. even with the brook fight casuals dont know who tf he is. a chance to put a HOF scalp on your resume.

Plus no way in hell cotto was/is ever considered Errol for his last fight. Offer made to look bold but was abstract. He's fighting Ali. So he ducking lol.

Good fights on the PBC side but no life-changing opportunities unless he fights Mayweather. Plus dude really needs a promoter to actually promote him.
According to Locomex he's 3.5 mil for Peterson, something he wouldn't touch for Cotto. Hell he's rated higher than Cotto on everyone's list so its not like he's getting a major scalp. He'd be the favorite. After the one fight, what else does he get? No other WW's in sight, would have to go up to 160 for Canelo, and would get a bunch of his check taken by GB. Its not a good deal. Lastly, who has Oscar promoted? Canelo was a name when Shaeffer was running things, and I haven't heard much from his stable since
