I get Spence's position. Not to mention he's going to get paid 3.5 million to fight freaking Lamont Peterson which is insane.

I'm hopeful that his popularity continues to grow. The question I have for him is if Golden Boy would have offered a contract that would have led him to Canelo or if Oscar would have gotten him a huge fight at Cowboy's stadium would he have signed.

Terence Crawford will be a ppv star before any pbc guys because arum knows how to build ppv fighters. If Spence wants to really be a ppv fighter he needs to sign to a major promoter. Also he only fought once this year, same as mostof the other pbc guys so how is it benefitial not being signed? The problem with pbc is they arent signed to a promoter so there is nobody making them fight the tough fights, well thats just one of the many problems, so for a guy like spence who could easily become a ppv star and could beat anyone at 147 he is not benefitting. Its obvious to anyone with an iq of at least 65 that Shaefer is the reason that Golden Boy went downhill by making a backdoor deal with al haymom that allowed him to steal 18 of their biggest stars including garcia, wilder, jacobs and almost everything else. Had shaefer not done that golden boy would still he on top. And they may have gone down a little but what has pbc done? Theyve lost over 600 million dollars within a few years how can anyone claim they are successful? With that in mind golden boy is in a lot better shape than pbc and so is top rank who have always been the best

Golden Boy just tried to sue his manager for $300,000,000. It would be a long shot for them to work together at all. And it would be almost impossible for him to be signed to Golden Boy and have Al Haymon as his manager at the same time. HBO is Golden Boy's network of choice and they banned Al Haymon.

I highly doubt cotto would have agreed to fight spence for his last fight, too much risk with not enough reward. But if he would have then of course he would have benefitted tremendously from fighting for golden boy. He should sign to top rank they would have him fighting on ppv within a year

Errol spence himself said that fans will believe anything and i bet he was talking about the rumor hes getting paid 3.5 million for his next fight. If anyone can provide proof of that it would be greatly appreciated. Id be very surprised if hes getting more than 1.5 million for such a low profile fight
