Lol,I liked Wharton but he relied on his left hook alot(afterall he was left-handed,converted to an orthodox fighter). He certainly wasnt top-class,but in his young prime takes out any of the WBC belt holders since Benn and would take out Lacy and Kessler.

Well, if you regard 36 minutes worth of one-sided arsewhipping a competitive fight, then I guess it was. The last time I saw someone getting beaten that badly it was filmed by the LAPD.

Oh, and Calzaghe isn't remotely arrogant. He's a touch ****y and very confident, but show me a boxer that isn't. Hell you'd have to be to get into the ring with anyone, let alone a world champion. As for the fools that think he should get into the ring with a busted hand - well, I'm just happy Calzaghe isn't as ****** as you are ... you'd have to be an idiot to go into a fight with a broken hand.

Interesting thread though. I'd have loved to see Calzaghe against a prime Benn, Eubank or Watson. Absolutely loved it. You could argue who'd win all day and night, but they were/are all very special.

Well to be fair, i've not seen the fight, i'm just basing it off what i've read from so called experts and reporters, and it seems the consensus is that he was lucky with the decision, but it was certainly not a robbery either.

And for what its worth, I reckon a draw was the best Hatton deserved.
