Lacy has more guts than Calzaghe? The only ones with guts where the American promotors who air mailed us a punch bag. Lacy was just plain ****** and chose the worst game plan ever. Thats not guts thats ******ity.

And the thing about postponing the bout... he was INJURED. INJURED!!!! ****ING INJURED! What dont you understand? It would be dangerous (perhaps life risking) to stick someone in the ring with an injury, especially against an opponent with enormous punch power... And there you acting like Calzaghe got some sort of advantage from postponing it...

it could have been a strategy. if lacy "peaked" thinking he was gonna fight joe. he would have overtrained.

Oh and HENRY WHARTON was a limited slugger who did not deserve his world title shot : suddenly jumped to top of rankings from nowhere after showing his 'underestimated' boxing skills against Nicky Walker (more like the guy Walker was just an absolute stiff! !) who had apparently been robbed in recent fights by premature stoppages and dodgy decisions, and then putting his next opponent to sleep who also was supposed to of had premature stoppages and dodgy decisions against him. Wharton did show world class form after the Benn and Eubank fights, but still just a limited slugger who could be outboxed,.

Well call him limited all you like.. but he punched guys out of the ****ing ring, he broke ribs, he knocked guys clean out (cold!), he broke arms. Everybody he ever shared a ring with came out bruised. He knocked out Ray Close in 90 seconds as an amateur (Close had beaten Dariusz Michalczewski and Fabrice Tiozzo).
