Why Can't Goldenboy make other superstar other than Canelo?

If they are as great as they say they should have multiple superstars.

He don't need that beating for a payday. And a beating is what it'd be.. That said Oscar talks a lotta $h:+

Mike Garcia will continue to make mistakes as long as he thinks he's the new Mexican Roberto Duran or something. He's probably already a millionaire by now and considering retirement had he stayed with Arum. Look at Bradley. There's also Crawford and Loma who don't have to fight Broner to make millions of dollars. There's only one Broner in the Haymon stable.

The only Golden Boy fighter known to the casual audience is Saul Alvarez, and near all of that work was done before Oscar was even hands-on with the company, so what's your point?

Smart move for Mikey. Cotto would have beat the brakes of him. Oscar is right that Mikey needs career guidance. I’m not bad mouthing him, but he needs matchmaking to make him a star. He could get that with Golden Boy, but the Cotto fight is all wrong for him.

Mikey would be straight ******ed to sign a multi-fight, multi-year contract with GB. He would have Cotto and that's it. He can fight Linares anyway if he wants to. Though, I expect him to move to WW before long and take on the big names. The money fights at 147 are all Haymon fighters except for Crawford. Below 147 there are no big money fights, except maybe the winner of Rigo-Lomachenko. And we all know Garcia isn't going to be allowed to fight any TR opponents ever again.

Yes, GB thought hey, this kid can make a Manny like jump and beat a big name. We can make some money off him after that. But they don't have anyone else to offer him. At all. Good move for Garcia, keep taking chances and keep winning and the big time money will come.

Cotto vs Garcia would have been bigger than Canelo/GGG, imho. Why, because the promotion would be highly focused; there's no Mac/May distractions. Both Cotto/Garcia speak English.

Mike would have made a minimum of $5 mil for the fight. An amount he can't possibly earn at PBC/SHO in 2 years.

It's a lost opportunity for Garcia. There's not many Cotto's in the sport doe.
