Go and see what the head of showtime had to say. Hopkins DID ask for double the very next day. Do your research you clown.

ward only took risks because he knew the ref and judges were in his pocket and he could get away with blatant cheating. these guys are both frauds.Last edited by daggum; 10-11-2017, 07:33 PM.

If you remember when he was fighting Thornberry and Starie, his career was all over the place. SKY and Warren were getting a bit bored of Joe getting injured all the time. He wasn't called sick-note for nothing. There was actually talk of Joe walking away if things didn't improve. The Sheika fight was make or break for him. Luckily, he came through with flying colours. That's when his career really picked up. He wasn't ready to risk a fight against Jones before this time.
After, Warren made a 5 mill offer to Jones for a fight but it was refused. No counter offer was ever made by the Jones camp.
What are you talking about?? If Joe would have taken fights like Lacy and Kessler early on in his career he would have lost??? Yeah, that makes perfect sense. A prime Joe couldn't beat them, but a past his best version could??
You Calzaghe haters are something else.

He has a better resume and better skills.

Ward was the better overall boxer where as Calazaghe was more physically gifted. Styles make fights so I would favor Calazghe in a fantasy match up.

Frank W and Joe just kidded to the media, knowing full well a fight was never viable.
