He was more powerful in 2012 but also slower. If he had won that fight clearly it's more a debate but he didn't. I give him credit, but only so much.

Of course you could still argue Ward lost the first Kovalev fight but then he won the rematch so it's not like Bradley/Pac where you could argue he should've been 0-3 against the guy. Bradley being elite, well, there's different types of elite. If we're talking being one of the best at 140 and 147 yes he was one of the best but one of the Top 5 guys in the sport, I can't say I would've ever put him in the Top 5. Maybe Top 10. Meanwhile Ward was #2 for several years then #1.
Bradley was once top 3 P4P at the sport behind Floyd-Ward. And many agreed to the list.

Lots of p4p rankings have been bad, did you really consider him the 3rd best boxer in the world? Even if they did it straight after his Pacquiao win. Mayweather, Ward, Pacquiao, Marquez, Martinez, Donaire, Klitschko. All these guys were above him p4p in 2012 even Adrien Broner was above him When was he #3?

I'd say he belonged in the Top 10 but not Top 5.

that time after he beat Marquez. Everybody agreed that he was within top 5.

Bradley. Beating a roided up Marquez, and going the distance three times with a prime Pacquiao. These two opponents alone are way better than anyone Ward ever faced. P4P more dangerous too.

Not me anyway. He still hadn't beat Pacquiao and that fight with JMM could've gone either way I thought it should've gone the other way. So I still would've had to put both of those guys above him even though he got decisions over them.

I guess people are entitled to feel however they want, but I really don't know why anybody believes Marquez beat or could ever beat Tim Bradley? There's a difference between a close fight that could have went either way , and a fight where the loser clearly lost but was game the whole fight and that's all Marquez was against Tim.
