No they didn't. Round 3 was a close round that could have been scored either way. If I remember correctly, the 3rd was the first round the Boxnation commentators scored for GGG.

No round 4 was. Almost everyone scored round 3 to Canelo.

Trella scored the 7th for Canelo, a round were he was absolutely dominated in.

Canelo was throughly beaten in the 7th that even Byrd gave that round to Golovkin.

Unless Trella is blind it would seem he gave Canelo a break in the 7th after dropping the previous 3 or 4 rounds.

Trella also scored the 3rd round to Bumlovkin - a round that Alvarez won CLEARLY. You Bumlovkinites need to come off of your BS. The decision was no robbery.

I have no problem with Moretti's score of 114-114. It was a close fight. Some judges give more credit to a fighter who continually makes the aggressor miss! However Byrd's score of 118 in this fight, combined with her score of 114 for Canelo vs. Mayweather, disqualifies her from EVER being a judge in a Championship fight, in my opinion!

There was absolutely no reason to give ggg round 3. That round was fought in he center of the ring. Trella and morreti were just looking for a round to give golvkin when they realized he was being outclassed.

Also round 5 Canelo landed the harderst Punch of the whole fight, Golovkin has one good counter that was his best punch in the entire fight too but ate two shots in the process. The difference was Canelo s punch knocked Golovkin off balance, Golovkins didn't. And Canelo controlled the majority of the round.

That's two rounds that they both blew.

Everyone saying this or that round was decisive for this guy or that guy. Just look over on eyeonthering sight to see where the disagreements are. So far 32 fan scorecards have been submitted and aggregated, and its always an interesting read.

Using their aggregation, if you count a score of 9.68+ as decisive (which is convenient as both Canelo and Golovkin had a 9.68 round, so allows the 3rd to be counted as decisive for Canelo, and the 6th for Golovkin), then you get the following:

Swing rounds: 1, 10, 11
Canelo clear rounds: 2, 3, 12
Golovkin clear rounds: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

VERY interestingly, the only round where everyone went for Golovkin and zero to Canelo was the 7th ! Even Byrd gave the 7th to Golovkin remember. Yet Trella (114-114) gave the 7th to Canelo.

Being an aggregation of 32 cards, these numbers are a lot more telling than me saying what was decisive or not in my opinion, or anyone else saying what was decisive in theirs.
