Stop making a fact out of a myth in order to make Floyd greater than one would consider.
Not a myth...Floyd may have still been physically "in his prime" at WW...however it's probably not his ideal weight class

Wow man, that would be a war I never even thought about.

Hard for me to pick. Hearns was a freak in the opening rounds.

Yeah, but Williams was actually bigger and had better stamina.

Slightly bigger, sure. But Hearns had power in both hands and could knock you out in one punch, Williams didn't. Massive Paul Williams fan so take that as real talk.

          Dream match-up for sure.

Paul had a chin and he was not scared to let his hands go. My biggest dream match up at 147 is Hearns vs Tito but I actually think Paul would have a better chance.

There is massive size/reach difference but Paul Williams isnt somebody who utilized his range. He fought like a small man, hunched forward on the inside. His defense was below average as he left himself wide open for counters. He was a big target.

Floyd would have outboxed him. He would have danced circles around the bigger guy.
