About the only thing that makes any sense to me concerning slander is the fact that Arum calls Broner a great fight for Manny and meaningless for Garcia but that could possibly be that its a forgone conclusion that Manny is way past his prime.

Nope, I said if you are going to write a thesis length thread on the evils of Arum, then be fair and include the evils of all these promoters who basically do the same thing that Arum does. Being a superstar and having a prospect contract doesn't help. At this point in his career Manny should be paying a lower rate if not fully co-promoting the bouts himself.

Arum sued Haymon for acting like a promoter yet Arum acts like a manager. He publicly shamed Walters(his own fighter) for complaining about the purse split. And over blew the financials aspect and exaggerated the money he would get.. No one ever called him out on it? Is a promoter acting in his fighters best interest by shaming him pubicly to reach a financial agreement with with another one of his fighters?
