Larry Holmes is VERY Underrated

I never got the impression he was underrated, it's accepted that he had one of the best jabs ever, and that he had a great chin and was a great fighter. he was just a victim of being around at the wrong time.

I agree. He has a great boxer who was around at the wrong time.

everybody thinks u can stay on the outside and run from tyson ... but tyson isnt a sitting duck..he faster at getting to you then anybody can run backwards even ali.. not saying its not the best way to fight him if your tall cuz what else are you going to do ..

i'm the biggest Holmes homer there is, but he wasn't robbed in the first Spinks fight. He came in fat and overconfident. Spinks outworked him. The second fight is another story. That one was highway robbery.

I agree, I had both fights 9-6, for Spinks and then Holmes.
