Connor did have something to prove against Paulie and he proved it by beating him up. He's got no history with Canelo but Connor has a great eye for technique and is pointing out high level stuff here. Canelo is a straight forward plodder and he can get picked off on the way in very easily. He's just been very carefully matched and only fought 2 world class opponents losing to 1 of them.
