Hmm. I am a fan of both, and I see Canelo winning but not dominating. But we'll see what ends up happening. I just wonder can Canelo hurt him there? Or can GGG hurt Canelo?

Or rather "will they", since they both definitely have power to hurt their opponents

Got a little bit of money down for Canelo here. I just hope that the fight will be a great one

Several? You mean 1? Against a 35 year old Cotto? Then there is Floyd and he lost that one. What else is there?

I'm most probably in the minority here when saying that I think Canelo has a decent chance in stopping GGG. Now bare with me here.

Canelo is a natural counter puncher.. and he doesn't exactly throw love taps himself. Does he have that special "one punch KO" power? No. But he can **** definitely. GGG is an easy target to hit with all due respect, yes he has a chin but can he put up with being counter punched by a natural hard hitting counter puncher for 12 rounds? I think that if he is infact getting outboxed by Canelo there could be a late stoppage in favour of Canelo.

People seem to think that Canelo has awful footwork. He may not be as mobile as some boxers but you don't beat 49 opponents at the elite level of boxing with awful footwork. If you've ever been in the ring you must realise that good counter punchers do indeed have good footwork. They are great at controlling the distance, making you miss by millimetres.

I'm not saying that this is how the fight goes, but to not give Canelo a chance is absurd. People keep harping on that Canelo has never faced anyone like GGG. Well newsflash. GGG has never faced anyone quite like Canelo either.

So you've no problem betting your account on a Canelo win then?

            No one is dominating anything.

It will be a great fight. I don't expect a back and forth brawl but it will be something real boxing fans can enjoy, specially if you aren't favoring one side over the other.

Canelo has better combinations, hand speed and if his jab can stay crisp, he will be able to control GGG fairly well.

If his jab goes absent and he tries to throw hooks more than anything else. Which judging by some of the training footage, Canelo looks to be relying on GGG's tendency to hunch forward by training up the hook and uppercut combinations.

Without going off course, if his jab isn't a focal point, he won't bother GGG too much. Even though Canelo has power, it isn't the smartest thing to go into a fight with GGG and try to see who's power will overcome who.

Side Note: Anyone notice GGG has not only the bigger frame but a much longer reach? 74 v. 71, Canelo is going to have some issues if he doesn't pop the jab a lot and often.
