Golovkin is a powerful fighter but his defense is simply not as good as Canelo's, just look at the stats. And taking a punch to land a bigger shot like you claim is never a good idea against an elite fighter like Canelo.

Canelo couldn't KO Lara and Cotto because they fought to survive. Golovkin will take the fight to Canelo, which will leave himself open to get KO'ed by Canelo.

I know compubox has the stats showing that Golovkin's defense was amoung the best of all active fighters. Its out of date so could you please provide a link to the new stats.

i have canelo winning this fight but i know he is slightly the underdog in this fight, it could be a 50-50 fight... but i have no problem betting my account, is not that important to me, if you ask me if ill bet big money in this fight, i prob wont, cuz is a fight that could go either way...
and to be honest i want to target some loud mouth ggg fans on avi and sig bets cuz i find it more interesting and satisfying to have them back in the forum and be able to laugh at them after the fight...
but i will have no problem betting my account against one of the most anoying ggg fans , like maxi, bigdrama, jubei, satiev, mathed, headshots, etc...

Very true that some of them were bums, there are bums on every record. Doesn't take away the skill level of the boxer though and the fact that he has fought some world class boxers. Same with GGG, only he has fought fewer world class boxers. I'm not pro Canelo or pro GGG. Infact this is one of the only fights that I'm completely unbiased on. Just seeing it from a technical point of view. People not giving Canelo a chance whatsoever is naive.
