And if all they do is PPVs shouldn't it be lower? UFC will put a lot of crap on PPV but it still does better than Ward vs Kovalev, one of the best fights that could be made in boxing. Meanwhile Ward and Kovalev are getting probably a total of 7 million in purses. Meanwhile UFC is paying fighters peanuts and getting more buys. So how is UFC screwed?
Ward isn't a PPV draw, newsflash!

The lower the UFC PPV numbers get, the less money they have to go around and pay themselves and fighters with. Eventually it's not going to be worth it for UFC as a company nor the fighters.

A girl I used to date works in TV now. She introduced me to a UFC wig-splitter during an event she was invited to by UFC. I asked them why UFC don't go to certain states (big money states in the east coast) and dude said it costs them too much money. This was when Zuffa owned it. I mean, doesn't that sound fcuking weird? They must spend a lot of money and not bring as much as everyone thinks they do in.

Look at UFC now, less and less talent every year.

No clue what that has to do with those "bad" PPV numbers you listed.

You said the UFC is doing bad, I told you those PPV numbers are quite good, you added that UFC fighters don't get paid much...which I tend to agree..which equals more profit for the UFC. Hence idk how the UFC is doing bad. I think maybe you aren't reading whats going on.

For UFC, those numbers are bad. You're comparing them to boxing, why the fcuk would you do that?

              Back on topic:

UFC averages 366,464 PPV buys without McGregor. (3,298,000/9)

With McGregor they average 520,776 PPV buys. (6,249,317/12)

              BIG DIFFERENCE!
UFC definitely struggling. A lot depends on if they get the New TV deal they want..

New UFC owners are in massive debt. Unless they get a crazy new TV deal they are sunk.

UFC fans are hyped about the return of Jones, he was in a great fight with Cormier and got his belt back. He was the biggest attraction before he was suspended. UFC will survive without Conor.

If he does fight Brock that will crack a million buys. I'm boxing for life but i'll buy any Jones fight. He can be as coked up as he wants. He'll need it for Lesner.

Those are GREAT numbers for the UFC. The UFC has only had 15 PPV's that did 1M+, 4 of them (over 25% of them) happened in 2016. Thats an insanely good year & iirc there 2nd most PPV's overall in a year ever (2010 being their best year).

And I'm only comparing them to boxing by saying boxing WISHES they had 4 1M+ PPV's last year.
