  • Mayweather = Final Nail in UFC's Coffin

For those of you not paying attention, UFC has been doing very badly in PPV numbers. Ultimately, thats how they survive.

Mc****** is UFC's last star. Floyd knocks Mc****** the fcuk out, their last star will fall.

Some of you think the fight is a joke, but it's not. Floyd get's his 50th win and breaks that bum Marciano's record. Then the fall of UFC, what more could you ask for?

They'll make enough on August 26th to make up for it. It will be huge.

The UFC will be alright. A Conor loss won't dent anything

Nobody knows if UFC is getting any PPV cuts or not. Gag order last I heard.

                Back on topic:

UFC averages 366,464 PPV buys without McGregor. (3,298,000/9)

With McGregor they average 520,776 PPV buys. (6,249,317/12)

                BIG DIFFERENCE!

The UFC still has Jon "Bones" Jones

He's just turned 30, is clearly the top p4p fighter in the UFC, and is on the cusp of standing as the UFC Heavyweight champion (if he can keep his life straight).

Jones-Cormier 2 did an alleged 800k+ homes on PPV; if there Lesnar fight ends up happening and Jones wins in dominant fashion, you likely have Jones set as a durable 1m homes PPV fighter.

It's not gonna be a $4b business, but Jones, Garbrant, Woodley, Mighty Mouse, that Australian 205lber, the female fighters, and others who emerge can undergird a good-sized business.
