      Mir vs Lesnar was like a decade ago. And honestly that doesn't even matter, because UFC has always and still does **** their fighters.

      And if all they do is PPVs shouldn't it be lower? UFC will put a lot of crap on PPV but it still does better than Ward vs Kovalev, one of the best fights that could be made in boxing. Meanwhile Ward and Kovalev are getting probably a total of 7 million in purses. Meanwhile UFC is paying fighters peanuts and getting more buys. So how is UFC screwed?

          12/10/2016 UFC 206 Holloway v Pettis 150,000

          They don't even show 2017 numbers because they're so low.

          Having 12 PPVs in one year seems a bit questionable, too.

            Who is "they"???

            The UFC never releases PPV numbers. Any PPV numbers in MMA/UFC are estimates from one or two particular media sources.

            214 = 860,000
            213 = 130,000
            212 = 200,000
            211 = 300,000
            210 = 300,000
            209 = 300,000
            208 = 200,000
            207 = 1,100,000

                You do realize those 4 1M+ PPV's = 4 more 1M+ PPV than boxing had in 2016 right?

                Some of you cats are horrible trolls or impressively ill prepared for debate or just dumb idk.

                    Like I said, it's getting worse. Jones can't even crack 1 million.

                    They were doing 16 a year at one point.
