Watching almost any mma fight is dreadful. Besides Jon Jones they all seem so average . I think people realize 90% of the fights are 30 seconds or 15 minutes of guys laying on the ground together. It's bad and most of the fighters are bad

Mc****** is UFC's last star. Floyd knocks Mc****** the fcuk out, their last star will fall.
Some of you think the fight is a joke, but it's not. Floyd get's his 50th win and breaks that bum Marciano's record. Then the fall of UFC, what more could you ask for?

Floyd could beat Conor into a bloody pulp and the UFC would still do fine. MMA isn't going anywhere after August 26 and the UFC will always be where the top fighters are in that sport.

Nice try you fcuking KFC nuthugger and Marciano was a fcuking BUM. Only fought names when they were well past it or well out of their division and well past it. He was a stain to the sport. He quit like a b1tch when the going got tough.
Floyd would whip Marciano's as$ at a catchweight. Hell, Michael Carbajal would whip Marciano's as$ at a catchweight ROFL.

UFC probably know Conor is on the way out sooner rather than later, that's why they have cashed out with this fight. There's no way UFC would dare put a rising star/future cash-cow in the boxing ring with Mayweather but McGregor is already a star and more likely to be on the way out than get more popular. They wouldn't even make this fight if they had a guaranteed 4 or 5 more McGregor fights, but they know it's highly unlikely. This fight will make the same money for them as a few Conor PPV's in UFC. So they have to make that money while they can.
Conor has never shown great desire to stay in the sport a long time and has already had strained relations with the UFC in the past. Not to mention another loss in UFC could some shine off him again. They know they can make a lot of money feeding him to Floyd while it's possible.

Boxing doesn't NEED PPV to survive like UFC does. Big difference!

All they do are PPV's, obviously the vs rate should be higher.

In reality the MMA fghts are much more varied than in boxing, fights end with knees, chokes, overhand rights, ground and pound etc.
If it isn't your thing, that's cool. But how are the top 10 MMA guys in each weight class any more average than the top 10 in each weight class in boxing?
