The dude hasn't even been spotted around the sport of boxing at all...completely gone ghost. But I guess that's what people do when they fight Floyd, they prepare for early retirement. Expect more of the same from McGregor. He'll get his Floyd check and say fook contact sports!
      Maidanas a living badass
One of the few who rode off into the sunset with a fistful of cash
And as for not being around boxing he visited the Mayweather gym like 2weeks ago....

        Maidana is the man.

He gave us a lot of great fights throughout the years. Morales, Ortiz, Khan, Broner, Mayweather 1 and many others.

He had a low point in his career with that dreadful performance against Alexander, but came back to kill Broner's hype and he had his Rocky moment against Floyd.

He retired young, happy and fat, and now he can enjoy the rest of his life without having to give or take any more beatings.

What the hell is wrong with that?

Dude made his money. Nothing wrong with him enjoying it. Not sure what the thread starter is talking about being a sell out though. Who'd he sell out? The fans? Nah I'm more then satisfied with the man and his performances. Hope he stays out and makes more money and enjoys his life.

how is that a sell out? he did his time and made his money, now hes retired in argentina where his millions $US can go a long way.

you saying boxers shouldnt retire when theyre young and still have their faculties? would you rather him be the next james toney, holyfield, roy jones, shane mosley ect ect?

very few boxers retire before they end up human punching bags.

Maidana put everything he had into the sport and he rightfully made his big payday. The notion that any of these guy's wanting to get battered after a certain age and time in boxing is silly. It's prize fighting and the guys who are the best in the game get paid. Good for Maidana and we should all wish him well.

Chino wasn't the most athletic fighter around but he had a good right hand and loads of heart.
Boxing was his way to provide for his family and once he hit the lottery with the Floyd fights, it was adios muchachos.
Chino was the real deal, which is probably the opposite of a sell-out.

World Champion, been in with some big names Mayweather, Khan, Broner, Ortiz etc some good wins and millions of dollars. Very good career. If he had got with Garcia earlier could of been even better but who cares really he's done what 99% of boxers will never do.
