Rigo is a very talented boxer whose career has been squandered for the most part. Poor management really, and a few fighters have ducked him. He's also a stubborn guy and should've taken that fight with Loma at 126.

The guys beaten donaire and lived off of that win for 4 years since. He also got put on his arse in that fight and it was a very close fight on the scorecards (116-111, 115-112, 114-113). ESPN had it 114-113 rigo. For some reason there seems to be some narrative on this forum that it was a schooling.

Theres been plenty of good fighters around his weight class, after all hes had 4 years since the donaire fight to fight someone that would have an ecg trace. Dont give me the bull**** about him being ducked cause lomachenkos managed to get better names in the ring already and he also had the feared amateur reputation. If you want big fights you can generally get them.

The guys 36 and hes wasted his career, as far as im concerned what ever bone lomas promoter decides to throw him, he should go and fetch it.

Maybe it might be down to his amateur pedigree, thats why hes rated so highly, but then i get told by many people that amateurs dont matter.

Im not an avid follower of the lower weight classes but from where im looking it looks like his resume is full of a bunch of stiffs? James ****ens, really?

Not even heard of most of them, i know of 'king kong' agbeko but he was so far past his sell by date im surprised he wasnt covered in mould.

In short, he passes the eye test. I've said it a million times - his resume is very, very overrated on this forum. Having said that, he definitely passes the eye test. Excellent boxer who ruined his career and is trying to piece it together a little too late.

Golovkin fan talking about someone else's resume. The irony. Donaire is better than anyone Golovkin has fought up to this point. I'm not even a fan of Rigo.
