one good win in 8 years as a pro, the same guy walters managed to beat in better fashion. But 'the eye test doe!' Just to clarify im not making out rigo to be a bum but seriously people were having him p4p top 3, comments saying hes the best in the sport, yet he'd really not proven an awful lot. He didnt look like an elite p4p level fighter to me last night.Comment

Opinions are like ass-holes. Everybody's got one. Mine? Rigo was a very talented and celebrated southpaw Olympic champion as an amateur that came into the professional ranks highly touted as a top prospect (much like Loma), and has basically squandered away his professional career. Has he been over hyped and placed too high on a pedestal base on his skills vs his chosen opposition vs his number of fights/quality of opponents???,......well again, that's a matter of personal opinion. From the "world level of competition" talent pool, Yes I can see where one would question Rigo's reputation as a top p4p boxer as his resume is a little thin for such high accolades. On the flip side, to the trained eye, he does posses, or at least he did posses at one time, boxing skills not often seen in most individuals who take to the ring. Like I said, it's all a matter of opinion. I think that's a fair and balanced response to your opening post.Comment
