Exactly this is how you know they full of shyt for the Chavez fight they tried to suck canelo dyck and make a 164 lb belt to be involved they reached out and told canelo camp the idea first. Canelo told them no you are not involved. They still made the belt and released a statement saying we are awarding the winner this belt hoping to pressure canelo into letting them be involved. That's when canelo went off telling the world I knew about the belt and told them no and they did it anyway. At this point WBC needs to do their own thing and stop bringing up canelo name and trying to get involved in his fights.

He's not paying your fees go rob someone else. They just mad that since canelo ain't paying the WBC the belt has become irrelevant and is not on the line in sept. Fat boy mad that canelo has to keep responding and setting the record straight because you keep sticking your nose in his business and pretending you are part of his fights. SMH

Canela is still butthurt the WBC wouldnt let him drain GGG down to his special weight division of 155 lbs. for a unification fight.. Real hardcore fans remember h9w he was demanding this just weeks before he vacated the title. WBC stood firm on a 160 lb unification becuz GGG was his mandatory challenger. It Wasnt until many months later when he directed the title vacate towards him being on trial..

The WBC had no right to make it seem like Canelo was ducking GGG when talks took place for the fight to happen in 2017. Fat boy is mad now because he won't getting money from Canelo anymore.

Canelo won that belt back in 2015. And before he fought for it he gave a pledge to the WBC and to Golovkin that if he won it he would defend against GGG next, not in 2 years time, if GGG stepped aside to allow him to fight Cotto.

They've bent over backwards to help build his career, making it easy for him to both fight for easy rings and to duck his tougher mandatories.

What does this have to do with GGG? Canelo beef is with WBC not GGG or vice versa. Canelo got the GGG fight he wanted and with more money in his pocket. As a fan I could give 2 phuks if one less meaningless belt is on the line whether it's RING, WBC, ect who cares. Fans got the fight we all wanted not a single fan is going to cry because the corrupt WBC isn't involved. There is more then enough bogus belts in boxing anyway means nothing fans know who the best fighters are and what's at stake in sept.

and that's good. It's about time fighters started doing this. But my point was that he also benefitted from their corruption in the past. Right now Fernando vargas should still hold the distinction of being the youngest ever champion at 154. He beat a credible champion in campas for the belt. Canelo was given the opportunity to break that record by winning vacant title and his hand selected opponent was a dude that wasn't even a top ranked welter weight. Is that not corrupt??
