Most of the best LHWs and all the best CWs are outside the USA, and with Ward's poor US PPV numbers, fights against any of them would bring in a lot more money in their home countries than they would in the States.

**** all the people here claiming there were no lowblows. There were very clear ones in rounds 2, 7 and 8. That hurts a man. That takes his mind away from the fight, and the feeling is a nasty one deep inside the stomach.

Kovalev was always a clean fighter in the ring, who had decisive victories without any borderline bullcrap controversy. He always made weight, he always won very clearly. He respects the sport of boxing, and its rules.
Ward has made his career on controversy. Always something to debate about his so called victories. Headbutts, clinching, elbows, lowblows...
Kessler, Froch, Kovalev and 75% of hundreds of thousands of fans all claim that Ward is a very sketchy fighter.
