**** all the people here claiming that Kovalev is a racist as well. He might have said some politically incorrect things, but it was not due to racism. He had reason to not like Stevenson, and he had his reasons to dislike Andre Ward.
Kovalev was always a clean fighter in the ring, who had decisive victories without any borderline bullcrap controversy. He always made weight, he always won very clearly. He respects the sport of boxing, and its rules.
Ward has made his career on controversy. Always something to debate about his so called victories. Headbutts, clinching, elbows, lowblows...
Kessler, Froch, Kovalev and 75% of hundreds of thousands of fans all claim that Ward is a very sketchy fighter.
These are facts.
let the record show.....
in order to defend Kovalev, you HAD to bring up Kessler
how do you explain Kovalev faking low-blows..... ?
..... and how will Kovalev's lawyer explain it..... ?

it is unbelievable that Ward let Kovalev off the hook like that
some would say that is fkn unprofessional
the only explanation to me is..... even in the heat of the moment, Ward was aware that some of his bodywork may have been borderline, and he was not 100% sure that those shots were legit..... so he did not want to risk a DQ, depending on how Weeks ruled those punches
in hindsight, Ward is likely kicking himself for not pulling the trigger..... but it does not change the fact that he had Kovalev hurt and ready to go
I think that they are dreaming
Weeks can - and likely will - say that he called the fight off 1 second prior to that last punch straying low

No one is questioning the punch to the head, but it also has an explanation he was able to hit Kova like that and didnt have that success before, also, the gif you are using in each of your posts clearly shows his punches are below of the belt line, they are not in the middle, they are like 3/4 below, so yeah they do count as low blows, but since they are not that clear to see in a action packed fight I understand how weeks didn't call them or didn't see them or would not even consider to warn Ward to keep his punches a bit higher, but the last 3, those where obvious, with intent, due to weeks not calling them before, he knew that Weeks would not call them so why not hit him low if you know that is slowing and debilitating him, obviously a bad call from weeks for turning a blind eye and even after the call he turned a blind eye and didn't want to watch and accept his mistake, even if Ward could have finished Kovalev, Kovalev should have been given the time to recover like every other boxer is given when hit low, and Kova was not hit once, most of trolls and Ward fans will not want to accept this, and if they see it will turn a blind eye, WT.F their fighter won, so for them including you, it does not matter how, you just wanted him to fight, even if it was controversial or your fighter used fouls and dirty tactics to get the W, unbiased people will see things as they are, and I'm not defending Kovalev because I wanted him to win, I was the one of the people who knew Ward would come stronger and with a better plan in this fight, but I didn't know he would turn to rough dirty tactics like he does when things become difficult.

Kovalev quit, was looking for a way out and got his ass beat. But keep crying.
