joe would win, trust me on that. wards a world class fighter but joe was near on unbeatable at 168. Ward likes fighting on the inside, but guess what, so does joe. hed be far too busy, far too much volume of shots coming wards way. Wards not unbeatable, most though kov beat him and he was 115-113 on two of the cards against froch. It would be one of joes closer fights but youre looking at the region of 116-112, 117-111 on the scorecards. Ward similar to hopkins and joe landed more shots on bernard than any fighter in his career had done, think he outlanded him by double the punches almost. its criminal how underrated joe is on this forum.

By age 25 Ward was already dismantling Kessler, Joe's career defining W. Joe's been dropped/hurt by journeymen and guys who's power do NOT compare to the guys I listed.
It's just that you don't know sht about boxing.

And Lacy was a pro world champion, an olympian with amateur pedigree.
Miranda, Green, Rodriguez and Barrera none of that.

Hopkins, Kessler, Reid, Woodhall, Mitchell, Eubank are better wins than Lacey or the Barreras of the world.

That was barely his 7th pro fight, Joe was getting dropped throughout his whole career even in his prime by guys with lesser power than Ward.

It took Joe 44 bouts to FINALLY fight a legit champion in their prime, Kessler. Ward barely has 31 fights but his resume is pure quality.

Ward did it just 20 fights into his career at age 25 before he'd even reached his prime. Going from fighting the likes of Pudwill to Kessler whereas Joe was a seasoned vet still fresh from having such an easy career..

There is HUGE risk in fighting power punchers even if they're B level. We've seen time and time again whether it's Mayweather-Maidana, Pacquiao-Horn, RJJ-Del Valle, etc. Ward has strung together one of the most dangerous resumes ever.

I don't know boxing? Lacy BARELY made it past Omar Sheika who was a ****ing journeyman. Lacy did NOTHING before or after fighting Joe to prove he was a quality fighter. He's on par with Miranda.

Barrera has a lengthy amateur career with over 100 wins including a win over Dawson. He's legit, wins over Shabs and Joe Smith Jr. he would NEVER struggle against a scrub like Sheika.

Hopkins got blown out by Kovalev and Smith lol, Kessler got his ass kicked by a 25 year old Ward barely 20 fights in, Eubank was scheduled to fight at cruiser and had to lose 20lbs within 2 weeks. Face it, Joe's resume is utter shyt.

Joe Calzaghe all day long. 46-0 for a very good reason. So Joe was a "slapper" w 32 ko's and Ward is a grappler, head butt, holder. Watch the Lacy fight and you would see Ward would have been in for his first defeat in my honest opinion. Joe was a punching machine period.

What a bunch of phony bullshts.

You perfectly know that Joe fought him 7 years before.

Do you think that the Nard who schooled Tarver and Pavlik would lose to Joe Smith Jr or even Kitty kov???

Ward best win at 168 (along with Froch) was a Calzaghe's left lover in Kessler.

So I wouldn't sht that much on Calzaghe's 168 career, because Ward's is far from being better.

                  LOOOOOOOOL

Did you start watching boxing 3 years ago?

Easy career, yet beat 11 world champions in his whole career:

Current/Former Alphabet Titlists Defeated: 9 Chris Eubank, Robin Reid, Richie Woodhall, Charles Brewer, Jeff Lacy, Mikkel Kessler, Roy Jones Jr, Bika.

Current/Former Lineal World Champions Defeated: 2 Byron Mitchell, Bernard Hopkins

Andre Ward beat 5 Alphabet titilists Froch, Bika, Kessler, Dawson, Abraham and 1 lineal champion Kovalov.

                  Including 2 Calzaghe's leftlovers...

So Dre is halfway to be as great as Calzaghe, but that's cool, he can do better than Joe but still respect the welshman's legacy wich is actually a lot better than Ward's.

except those compubox stats were completely disproven upon video review. why do you keep touting them as if they are fact? just ignorant or disingenous? calzaghe barely landed anything clean on hopkins. he got the gift decision after walking into counters and missing wildly. gift decisions prove how great he was? he not underrated like you claim. hes overrated.

2 terrible fanbases fighting over who is least fraudulent. the slapper who got gift decisions and refused to fight anyone good unless they were 100 years old or the headbutter/clincher who refused to fight unless he had everything his way and got gift decisions and stoppages.
