And how do know he can cope with Golovkin's power? Canelo's elite opponents have all been light punchers, usually smaller than him. His chin has never been checked by a hard hitting MW, which Golovkin most certainly is.
Because I've seen him hit a welterweight with his best shots flush without even being able to score a knockdown. Brooke was even egging him on. If it wasn't for his frail frame this fight could've easily went the distance especially with GGG showing signs of fatigue.

And as far as Canelo only having faced light punchers I will dismiss it as simple ignorance. Ever heard of Alfredo Angulo?

We don't know how well Canelo takes one against the middles. If he wins its on not getting hit, not durability. But he fades himself, and goes to the ropes too much. This fight could be a disaster for him.
There was no knock down, that's a classic slip. The guy got right back up and picked things off right where he left em. Was not hurt at all. Only thing Golovkin chewed up was his fragile 147 frame. The guy was even taunting Golovkin in the 5th, no way he would've been able to do that against a guy like Lemieux for instance.

And again, if you a still having doubts about Canelo's durability, I invite you to watch his fight against Angulo. Core solid as a tree trunk. Not to mention Golovkin is not immune to body shots as well. Mark my words, Golovkin is not knocking out Canelo. And he better not try to because he might end up punching himself out in the process.

And about him fighting off the ropes too much, I remember a certain fighter using the very same strategy to beat the hardest puncher of his era and made it out just fine. Ability to fight off the ropes is an advantage against a fighter who's game plan revolves around cornering his opponents.

Yeah I don't see a bloodbath. I never really got that impression from the start. These are two highly skilled guy's. It'll start out pretty technical. Maybe later in the fight when guy's are beginning to gas you'll see them open up a bit more.

Both are good technically. GGG has more polish, Canelo has more slickness.

I said what I said; even with the 4 knockdowns in 3 rounds, an all Montreal crew (nevermind Canadian) was only able to find another 4 rounds to score for him, and even that was pushing it. Put that fight in even an actual 18'x18' ring, and you end up with even fewer rounds for the All-montreal crew to give to the hometown fighter.

Lol yeah he only got knocked down 4 times, what a robbery. What are you n'dam's father? Maybe he should try to stay on his feet a whole fight if he wants to win.

They've literally scientifically analyzed how hard Golovkin punches. Saying a welterweight broke his face open before he could be koed, and therefore Golovkin isn't that powerful is a hilariously bad argument.
