Contrary to ****** Logic. GGG is the boxer in this fight not canelo

Most causal retarted fans who don't know much about boxing think canelo has better skills because he tries to fight like mayweather and exagerrates every defensive maneuver as well as does the same predictable combinations. It works against bums, but won't against ggg. GGG is the guy with the better boxing skills by far. He's not outboxing the silver medalist. He has the quicker feet and he has the best jab in boxing. GGG is the also the guy with the longer arms and is 3 inches taller.

Canelo's kryptonite is quick feet and a great jab. Problem with someone like lara is he throws about 6 shots per round. GGG throws the jab at a much higher volume. In order for canelo to beat ggg, he will have to get on the inside and take it to ggg and slip his shots. He will have to get hit as well, because his defense is not that great. He stays in the middle of the ring flat footed. No pull counters will work in this fight. If canelo's team gameplan is to try to fight ggg from the outside then it will be like the lemieux fight. GGG will be the boxer in this fight. Canelo has to get on the inside or he loses the fight mid range or outside easily.

Canelo will be doing the hit & not get hit strategy in this fight.

ggg doesn't mind taking one to land one.

Yea Canelo doesn't have the better jab, but ggg will be the one coming forward in this fight.

Not all "boxers" set everything up behind a jab. Making opponent miss then pay is one tactic to hit & not get hit.

This is why I think he will beat Canelo.

They are both pretty technical. I'm now thinking that it won't be as action-packed as people are hoping

I have been saying this. Canelo has to avoid and neutralize GGG's power to win. How else can he do that but move, jab, move , jab and tie up.

GGG is very skilled but appears slower than Canelo so if he tries to outbox him we could get a Floyd/Canelo type deal. Brook was boxing him well and Canelo is superior to Kell IMO.

In fairness to satiev1, When you spend your life riding GGG's nutsack, it probably looks like he has quick feet.

X factor here is speed. There's a huge gap in speed between the two. I could see a fresh Canelo picking a tired Golovkin apart with the right gameplan. And he's great against the ropes, I don't care what you say. Golovkin modus operandi is all about cornering his opponents, Canelo's shoulder roll, which is very efficient contrarily to what you may think, combined with a great chin and durability could end up taking a lot of gas from Golovkin in the early rounds.

And contrarily to what many people think, I don't think Canelo will be intimidated by Golovkin's power which is overrated in my opinion. We're talking about a fighter who wasn't able to score a knockdown against a welterweight. The fight was stopped early and Golovkin did end up breaking his eye socket, but that can be attributed to Brooke's frame more than anything.
