Contrary to ****** Logic. GGG is the boxer in this fight not canelo

Brook has boxing skills but when you have a guy that cuts off the ring and slow you down to the body like the way ggg does then you know you're in trouble. canelo can try to be a slick shoeshine boxer but reality is that he isn't a floyd or lara type.I have been saying this. Canelo has to avoid and neutralize GGG's power to win. How else can he do that but move, jab, move , jab and tie up.
GGG is very skilled but appears slower than Canelo so if he tries to outbox him we could get a Floyd/Canelo type deal. Brook was boxing him well and Canelo is superior to Kell IMO.Comment

GGG definitely has fast feet. He has caught up to everybody he's fought, that includes quick fighters like Jacobs, Monroe Jr and Kell Brook.
much faster than Canelo who looked visibly stationary against the likes of Lara, khan and Mayweather...... even Trout.Comment

X factor here is speed. There's a huge gap in speed between the two. I could see a fresh Canelo picking a tired Golovkin apart with the right gameplan. And he's great against the ropes, I don't care what you say. Golovkin modus operandi is all about cornering his opponents, Canelo's shoulder roll, which is very efficient contrarily to what you may think, combined with a great chin and durability could end up taking a lot of gas from Golovkin in the early rounds.
And contrarily to what many people think, I don't think Canelo will be intimidated by Golovkin's power which is overrated in my opinion. We're talking about a fighter who wasn't able to score a knockdown against a welterweight. The fight was stopped early and Golovkin did end up breaking his eye socket, but that can be attributed to Brooke's frame more than anything.
timing beats speed which is why GGG has a higher KO ratio. it's not raw power. he has great timing.
Canelo's shoulder roll will be picked apart by GGG because G throws probe shots. Canelo could roll a probe and eat a left hook to the gut.
Brook also has a great roll. i would say it's smoother and faster than Canelo's roll which always looks laboured because he's just so heavily muscled.Comment

I think it'll be a good, clean fight, just slower and less violent than people expect. Golovkin will fight behind the jab and Canelo will be trying to time and counter him. My feeling is still that Canelo's slow feet and poor positioning will cost him the fightI have been saying this. Canelo has to avoid and neutralize GGG's power to win. How else can he do that but move, jab, move , jab and tie up.

I am thinking, for lack of a better term, a "high level chess match". I don't expect a Mexican style (whatever that means) fight as many are expecting.Comment

GGG isnt quick at anything but he does have good positioning and foot placement probably giving him the better footwork per say but its not going to matter much because canelo isnt going to fight from ring post to ring post like GGG likes his opponents to do.Comment

It's not even debatable who the quicker fighter is. Quicker feet > over hands any day in boxing. Canelo will be chasing ggg and getting his face smashed by the jab. GGG will be moving back as he throws the jab not allowing canelo to do a pull counter like he did against the flat footed chavez jr.Comment

He has quick feet. Impossible to win a silver medal at the olympics in 3 rd spurts without having quick feet. Also impossible to cut off the ring against fast fighters with having quick feet. Canelo's feet are slow though. You don't know much about boxing.Comment
