He only owes them 25 mil is what is reported. I personally dont care about another mans money but you are just wrong, floyd still has 100 million checks he hasnt touched, thats not the sign of someone whos in a bad financial situation. Hes probably just paying taxes really late or pushing it back until he gets paid again.

You are really ****** and its annoying.

Floyd/Conor reaches a wider market than Floyd/berto. There is more money available for promotion. As such, they use the extra resources to stage promotional events like this.
you make zero sense!!! this aint football.

you are claiming floyd had to do that to sell the fight to the casuals. what for?? casuals know who mcgregor is already BUT not berto.

just a few weeks ago when someone made a thread about why havent there been a press for the floyd/mcgregor fight and i believe the floyd fans said its still too early for all that and plus this fight needs no promotion because it'll sell itself. LOL. now they doing this to get the casuals to buy it? LOL

You are ******ed. You should be given your own lounge that has a picture of a handicapped placard so people know what to expect when going back and forth with you.

I also think most boxing fans discount the event-ness to fights. As boxing fans we usually give lil to no f#cks about this, but this is going to be like the Super Bowl to MOST of the people buying it. I've suggested multiple times that 80%+ of the people who buy this PPV will be sports fans & even non-sports fans who don't usually order fights. And sometimes the Super Bowl isn't the most exciting Super Bowl. Sometimes your vacation sucks. Sometimes that new Mexican joint sucks. Sometimes you find out that you really hate waterskiing. This is just a random event for most of these buyers that they likely already understand could be epic, okay or suck completely. Thats just how events tend to work. Next year if there is a Canelo vs Spence PPV event fight thats been built up they will be right back there ready to throw down there $60+.
Of course, but like flying higher and higher into the atmosphere the higher you get the more compromising and more severe it gets. Go high enough and the conditions become deadly. You seem to be equating this situation with "any situation." Isn't that the basis of your friendly side of the discussion for the most part? I'm talking about extremes - I think this will be worse than people are expecting. Much worse.

Yea idk about that. I mean I guess there are some people who'll never wanna eat at a Mexican joint again after some food poisoning at one, but most people would equate that to a specific Mexican joint then all Mexican joints. Same thing with fights for people who are just gonna be watching this fight cuz its something popular & that they've heard about happening. So yea maybe 2% of the 4M+ sports fans & non sports fans will be completely turned off by this fight...potentially, but most people will just chalk it up to a bad decision on their part like that time you went to go see that GI Joe movie sequel.

And thats if it does suck, which it may not. Floyd might KO dude in 6 or Conor might shock the world & all the things we thought we knew about boxing get flipped on their head. I think boxing fans are too dramatic about sh^t across the board. Sh^t is never as f#cking serious as you guys think. Boxing ain't dying. PPV isn't dead (I wish it was, but its not). And so on & so forth.

Think more positive homie. The glass is half full not half empty.

Am I missing something. The Press events were great! These crowds are more than some actual fight attendance. Both Floyd and Mcgregor were animated and entertaining.

Boxing isn't dying? I'll agree to disagree then.
