Yea I watched but they didn't get any money out of me to watch it. The press conference is suppose to get you to want to buy and watch the fight. But Im absolutely not buying this ****.

Did you like it and did it get you more pumped for the fight. The press conference is suppose to be the best part of the whole event.
I'm still trying to digest this is actually happening I think bro. There was definitely some cringeworthy & corny sh^t going on, but I'll show you some cringeworthy & corny sh^t going down in any presser. Its a pretty lame & dated institution that offers little excitement or fun. That said this presser if nothing else was more exciting & fun then the average presser even with the cornballness involved in it.

And randomly if I ever see that white afro having MGM guy I'm gonna hit him in the face on principle for boring me multiple times over the years with his lil speeches.

Idk if I've been or will ever be pumped for this fight. But like I keep saying this fight isn't for us. Its not even for MMA guys. This fight is for the sports fans & the non-sports fans who are probably going to be 80% of the buys of this event. The question isn't if you or I enjoyed this if its those sports fans & non-sports fans who know lil to nothing about either of these two guys got hyped for the fight off of this presser or more likely the highlights of it which is probably going to be all the overwhelming majority will even see.

Yeah I get it but I think Boxing Fans are struggling with the fact that...THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG EVENT WITHOUT YOU!

For some reason some of us Boxing Fans are so use to being in control I think the frustration is that it is ZERO Control from boxing fans in this one.

While on the McGregor/UFC Fans side of things...THEY'RE ALL IN! That is what will carry the event to a record breaking event even without us the Boxing Fans! I'm not buying it either but because Casuals and UFC fans are full Invested into this thing it will be plenty of places to watch it for FREE!

Yea i hear you man. Maybe it's a California thing but i don't hear the average sports fans on the talk radio all pumped for it. On KNBR the Bay Area sports station that reaches all the way in my part of California barely talked about it and zero called in to express their excitement for it. Unlike how it was for May-PAC.

I agree with fight will sell but I don't see it selling at a rate of May-PAC.

The fans, really? So now the fans control Mayweather? Since when? No accountability for his actions.

It's not about control for me. I've always been a fan of good quality and competitive fights. If I don't get that then my interest level goes way down. I'm not intersted in wasting money on something that's being billed as an event then being a top level high quality fight.

Even if it's a halfway forgivable anticlimax people will still be disappointed. The reality will be much, much worse though. Floyd is going to spoil and under excite his way to an embarrassingly easy win. McGregor is going to get fist ****ed. He's not going to be competitive for a second. People are going to realize this fight had no business ever happening in the first place and all the casuals and the first timers are going to go away with sore rear ends. All the optics are going to make this the biggest fiasco in sporting history. What happens in the ring is going to make people feel like this was an irresponsible and inappropriate undertaking and all involved will reap the whirlwind.
