Comments Thread For: Roach on Pacquiao: We Don't Want a Fight a Guy Like Crawford

I would like to sweep this post away, and call it rubbish
but yea, that stuff actually happened
could this be like that silly situation on the other thread..... ?
where a pile of silly pacstains are happily ignoring the fact that Arum has been robbing Pac blind for YEARS, and Manny now owes 76mil in tax...... but are violently blazing away at Mayweather for owing 1.6mil, despite the fact that he banked 275mil only two years ago?
oh, right
based on that, I agree with you..... it looks like cowardly Pac is too ssssschicken to fight Crawford
it is all fun-n-games until someone loses an eyeComment

Why would Pacquiao fight Raheem when his loss was to Morales? Why wouldn't he want to redeem himself after the loss? If Arum kept him away from Morales type fighters why did he fight him 2 more times and If Manny was unsuccessful with those type of fighters how did he end up knocking Morales out In two out of the three fights?
Again, you Initially claimed that Pacquiao was kept away from fighters that had a longer reach and had boxing ability, so once again I am asking you how many opponents Manny faced that he had an advantage on when It comes to reach?
"I don't know" Is not a good answer following such a ridiculous claim.
Pac absolutely should have fought Raheem
what possible reason was there for not making that fight ?Comment

Morales left a lot in the ring in the Raheem fight-the fact he was 2-7 after that fight illustrates this.
The fact that Morales was not the same has more to do with being knocked out by Manny In two of those seven losses and coming back at the tail end of his career after a three year lay off. Yet he was still able to give Maidana all he could handle with many thinking he pulled It off.
Arum realized that boxers would give Manny trouble (something confirmed in the JMM fights)
Is that why Manny Is up In the series 2-1-1? In reality, If not for a judges admitted error Pacquiao would be up 3-1.
Morales had started to fade BEFORE he fought Pac the first timeComment

Please, Raheem lost to Rocky Juarez, Acelino Freitas and Ali Funeka, Pacquiao would have had no problems with Raheem. Pacquiao did exactly what he should have done and that was redeem himself by stopping Morales twice.Comment

no way did Pac win the 3rd fight, and like you I had Marquez winning the 1st
if we are going to fix the Bradley result and award that fight to Pac, which I think is fair..... and possibly even fix the Horn result and award that fight to Pac as well..... then we can also fix whatever happened in the 3rd fight (The Bobfather) and award that victory to Marquez
either that..... or we can leave the result of the 3rd Marquez fight how the judges saw it, and do the same for the Horn fight
you can't have it both ways
it was the 3rd fight with Marquez which proved that Pac has trouble with technical fighters, more than any other imho..... because that was a weight-setup..... they dragged Marquez up TWO divisions because they thought that he was old and slow at welter judging by his performance against Mayweather..... Pac had every advantage and was supposed to walk through Marquez and blow him away
if you give the 2nd fight to Pac, which was about as close to a draw as you can get..... and very hard to pick..... then I have that series 3-1 to Marquez
Marquez will be Pac's achilles heal when it comes to ATG considerations..... because Manny has never been able to distance himself from MarquezComment

old Morales..... ?
old faded Morales..... ?
with respect, you did not answer the question
scoffing, and insisting that Pac would have beaten his inferior opponent easily..... did not work out very well for Manny in the Horn fight, or in the Marquez fight..... and Raheem was right on top of his game at that point
looking back in hindsight is a little disingenuous
the fact is, there was no reason to not make that fight
why didn't Pac fight Freitas and Funeka? preferring instead to fight plodders?..... why not fight the slick boxer/punchers instead of Velasquez, Larios, Solis, Diaz?
pretty sure that is what Big Dunn meant
everyone does it, no big dealComment

What? lol, It shows that you have never watched the fighters you are arguing for. Freitas and Funeka were not some outstanding technical slick boxers. If you think a prime Pacquiao has problems with these two guys than you are completely lost.
As I said previously, Morales was far from shot. What boxer who lost a fight wouldn't want to redeem himself by re matching the guy that beat him?Comment

Freitas and Funeka were not plodders, don't talk rubbish
and Morales had definitely started to slip before that fight, no way was he in his prime
where did you rank Diaz at lightweight when they fought ?
..... why did they fight Diaz, and not Campbell/Casamayor, or even baby-bull?Comment
