LLL hasn't gone into survival mode in his career yet so a Canelo KO/TKO wouldn't be shocking since LLL is likely to keep coming and walking into shots.
JCC and Cotto, etc., went into survival mode where they threw less, moved more, and engaged less..it's how you get beat up...LESS and have "bragging rights" for not getting stopped.Comment

I agree with you. I just found it interesting because it's the second article I notice like this.Comment

To be fair GGG is on his way out....whether he wins or loses this fight he will not be in action much longer.
Age IS a relevant factor in this fight and it IS a reason to lean towards Canelo, he has the age advantage.Comment

Canelo keeps talking knockout because he plans on outboxing Golovkin, which would be in my opinion a very bad strategy. Obviously no boxer in his right mind is going to give away his game plan by allowing his opponent to know and hear about it in advance.
His best bet against GGG is just to stand and trade and don't attempt to fight off the back foot, because Gennady is a master at cutting off the ring. If he moves he's going to get hurt. There only so many counters he can land while absorbing multiple punches himself in the process.
The trouble Alvarez is going to encounter while attempting to outbox GGG, is that Golovkin often leads forward with his jab. Gennady neutralizes Ginger's counters with his lead jab while fighting off the front foot.Comment

I agree. Personally I feel Canelo can't out box Golovkin. He has to go for the KO. The best he can hope for is the judges give him an undeserved decision if he doesn't stop G. G winning a decision against Jacobs is a bigger achievement than decisioning Canelo.Canelo keeps talking knockout because he plans on outboxing Golovkin, which would be in my opinion a very bad strategy.
