This is a step up for both. Considering Canelo's recent opposition, Golovkin should be better. He's a bigger test than Khan, Smith and Jr.

I've never actually seen GGG hurt before. If Canelo wins, it will be by outboxing GGG.

Accuracy, speed, goes along way. Also wearing someone out defensively.

Tszyu couldn't stop Hatton, but Mayweather, with brittle hands did. Tszyu had more power, but Floyd had better accuracy, speed and was better defensively and frustrating his opponents.

Canelo also has superior body punching and uppercuts. He's also better with upper body movement. I expect GGG to look like a much slower fighter than he ever has looked and he will miss a lot and get hit a lot. Canelo will not stop him, he will decision clearly. But he won't stop him because Jacobs couldn't, I think Canelo will choose to fight smart once he sees how good GGG is and he will see that going for the KO is not wise. He will go for the dec.
at that time Tszyu was on his way out.

Prime Tszyu would have killed Hatton.

That's what they'll be saying when Canelo defeats GGG.

"He was on his way out".

"Prime GGG who beat Rosado would've killed Canelo".

GGG is 35, Tszyu was 35.

Couldn't even drop Cotto or Chavez, both of whom have been stopped b4. No KO win over GGG.

                  Canelo UD12

unless he stops a fatigued Golovkin late with one of those NASTY bodyshots

...at least 210. The reality is that GGG is noticeably bigger than Canelo. He is at least 2 inches is taller and has a bigger frame.

My point being, that based on the quotes, Canelo is not directly stating he's stopping GGG.
You are right. From what I have read, Canelo is saying that the fight will end in a knockout. I don't think he has ever guaranteed that he will knock GGG out. But he expects to win, so we can conclude that he expects to knock GGG out.
