This is my reasoning for Lemieux. When he lost to those guys he wasn't trying properly and cutting weight properly. His power if he catches Canelo he can KO him or hurt him badly enough to stop him with a follow up volley. Canelo likes to go to the ropes and rest. That would be suicide against Lemieux. Lemieux has good hand speed with power.Lemuix?? He got beat by CAREER 154 lb Alcine who Angulo in 1 round KO'd. Why does some ppl think Lemuix is that good?? He's a C class fighter with good power??? Is it to make GGG's resume look better or do you watch his fights and really believ this??? If they ever fought I would bet BIG money on Canelo.
See this is why I kind of wanted Lemuix 1st. Take money from ppl like u.
Jacobs depends how he fights Canelo. Like he did on GGG would be very tough nut of he engages... Sure on paper Jacobs has more power but his suspect chin would make their power even.
Canelo has a great chin so he might get wobbled or KO'd if they engage but if Canelo hits him good he's out or going down for sure.
Jacobs is a A Class fighter in every category but his whiskers. And that drops him down to a B or B+.Comment

The titles boxing scene keeps using for Canelo credit him with saying he's KO'ing GGG, but the quotes don't say that directly. It says Canelo is confident of victory, and then he says he's sure the fight ends in a KO.
My point being, that based on the quotes, Canelo is not directly stating he's stopping GGG.Comment

this guys gassed on his own hype. you dont have the firepower to compete, gonna be trading shots with a monster. canelos not a puncher at 154, hes going up in weight to fight someones whos a big puncher at 160. And people think thats going to end well for him? He couldnt put a dent in chavez lol, hows he gonna do any sort of damage to GGG? Pacquiao stopped cotto, knocked him down yet canelo couldnt. Thats how low his power is, there is none.Comment

You're absolutely right!Hahaha good joke. The only way he can win is by a robbery vs. GGG if they go to a decision, which I really doubt will happen. If there's a KO, Canelo will be the one on the canvas or the one losing by stoppage.
And no, Canelo did not fight "the best in his time," because that one is named Manny Pacquiao. He could have faced him in 2009 and part of 2010 (only time when it coincided that both fighters were fighting as welterweights) and I guarantee you that Manny would have put Canelo in 100% shame and most likely KO'd him, since Manny massacred and KO'd Cotto, who was way bigger, quite easily, even BEGGING the referee to stop the fight to stop massacring Cotto, which he finally did very late, at the end of 2009. So let's say Canelo had fought Manny next to that. Canelo would have been beaten up ugly by Manny, just like he did bigger De la Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. I mean, a tiny Manny destroyed a much bigger Cotto who was the favorite AFAIK. Yet years later, in top form and two divisions bigger than Cotto, Canelo couldn't even knock him down or really hurt him!
That Manny Pacquiao was invincible, by far the best fighter of the era where him, Mayweather Jr., Sergio Martinez and Marquez were the best fighters. Floyd ran away from THAT invincible 2008-2009-2010 prime Manny with all kinds of lame cowardly excuses, and fought him after Manny was blatantly robbed vs. Bradley, and a bit later on got almost killed by JMM. So Floyd ended up "fighting" -- clinching and running away-pot-shotting -- an injured Manny who had previously almost been killed by Marquez, UNTIL 2016, six years past Manny's prime. And still to many experts OUTSIDE THE USA, Manny won that fight because Compubox "stats" are pathetic and credited Floud with tons punches he never connected, and never credited Manny with lots of punches he did connect. The same thing happened with the sold-out judges in Vegas.
Bottom line, Canelo NEVER EVER fought the best fighter available when he was fighting, which was named Manny Pacquiao, in 2009 and 2010. Manny would have massacred the flat-footed redhead quite easily.
Now go away and never come back.Comment
