Not bad, now if ESPN can chill out with all the virtual signaling, ******* bs, I'd watch more often.

How did you come up with this number?

Researched comparable Nielsen ratings (2.4) and saw what it came out to. Although I'm hearing conflicting reports. Some saying there were 3.1m viewers.

Horn was a nobody. Now he's a star.
          How is horn a star?

Exactly. And this clearly proves that Jeff "The Hornet" Horn is a bigger draw than Golovkin.

Will this work just as well for Lomachenko vs Marriaga? I have my doubts. There is no star power there for the casual viewer.
That's why they need to promote the hell out of him. Him and Terence. Do stories on them on Sportcenter leading up to their fights. Maybe even do a 24/7 type show that lasts a half hour. Mention their names nightly. Show their highlight packages. Do that same little countdown clock thing to their fights like they did with the Pacquiao fight.

Will they attract the same numbers as Pacquiao, most likely not but they can still do very, very well. I think it's up to ESPN. If they put their power behind these events then plenty of casuals will bite hook, line, and sinker.

I do agree that ESPN has a lot of power. If they get Sportscenter behind their boxing shows, to treat them like real sports news, that alone helps a lot.

For the Pac fight they had their MLB announcers talking about it during games. That kind of cross promotion is gold for attracting new viewers.
