According to Ring he is the best of his era. In that thread there is another poll from 2014 that had Floyd #19 ATG and Manny 22nd and that was before Floyd defeated Manny. That is good enough for me.

He beat ODH, Hatton and Shane 1st. He beat Cotto without a CW. He beat JMM without controversy. To top it off, he easily beat Manny by a wide margin.

I don't know at what point the WBO became "legitimate." I still don't consider it legitimate and I see the IBO is slowly working their way in like the WBO did.

But Jones was absolutely considered undisputed LHW champ and that's because no one thought the WBO was legitimate, at least not then. He was announced as the undisputed champ and you'll notice he was recognized as undisputed in every publication, article...everything.

I've never seen anyone like RJJ, he is a pleasure to watch and his fights don't get boring whereas Floyd's half of the early fights are unbearable.
