Carefully moved is when you have great management that has connections and puts you in with guys who will make you look good before you get your title shot. Who had Mayweather fought before he got the title at 130? Absolutely nobody.

Marciano had fought pretty much all of the top contenders right up until he got his fight with Walcott. Mayweather hadn't fought a single guy rated in the top 10. Not one.

He fought a champ in his 18th fight...by his 35th fight he was a 3 weight champ and a 2 division champ

In Marciano's 35 fight he was fighting a guy 11-14-2

how the hell can you spin this?

Rocky is more impressive. Going 49 fights without a loss is amazing at heavy weight. Fighters at lower weights have had longer winning streaks but at heavyweight there is only one guy that went 49. Consider that Rocky was a small heavyweight.

For some reason you are refusing to hear what I am saying and in turn making the same logical fallacy.

            Here it is:

Match making in the Mayweather era was not the same as it was in the Marciano era. In the Mayweather era, managers took a fighter and from before he even turned pro they have the intention of making them a world champ. In the Marciano era, you fought whoever was there to fight. Everyone fought each other, usually multiple times. Joe Louis is probably the first fighter to have management that intended upon making him the world champ from the get-go.

Like I said, Marciano didn't have an international amateur career. He fought in the military and I think a golden gloves. He had like 13 amateur fights. Marciano learned the trade by fighting in the ring.

You still fail to realize that Mayweather was like a thoroughbred horse trained from birth practically. The fact of the matter is, Mayweather never fought anybody to give a **** about when he won his first title. Does that mean nothing to you? If Genaro Hernandez loses his title to a 18 fight fighter then you have to question how good Genaro was to begin with...

Point is, don't act like match making was the same when Mayweather was coming up as it was when Marciano was coming up.

You don't even know what you mean't. Those 3 things aren't even related.

Mayweather didn't fight a single top 10 fighter prior to winning the title. True or False?

Marciano fought the available top contenders prior to winning the title. True or False?

Marciano had no international(world renowned) amateur boxing experience prior to turning pro. True or False?

Mayweather had fought guys from all over the world and was born into boxing so to speak, prior to turning pro. True or False?
