    Who's 49-0 Is Better?

I hate to disappoint all the Rocky fans, but I think Floyd may have the edge here.

Yeah, I know when we talk about heavyweights, one punch can equalize everything but that is true of all weights, even if it might be more true for heavys.

And when you compare who each fought and how long the excellence was sustained, it isnt even close.

I say this because of all the flack surrounding the fact that McGregor has zero pro boxing experience.

I may not like that Floyd is going for #50 against such, but like it or not it will count.

And really, McGregor may not be as bad as some of the names on the resumes of other undefeated fighters, sooooo...

What about the fact that if RJJ hadn't been wrongly DQ'd in this early career he would have been sitting on 50-0 at one point

That same man is now 48 and still beating kids

Floyds clearly is better, he fought more champions and ranked fighters..Marciano was fighting fighters with losing records after he had 30 plus fights

Bs - you should know better Larry

Back then there wasn't a gazillion belts

If there was one belt in floyds time, he wouldn't have been a champion until later in his career and barely would have fought any champions.
It's fair to say Floyd would never ever have become ww Champ if there was one belt. Would he have fought guys in their prime to win it? History tells us hell no. He ducked fights to ensure they were sliding

These days a decent fighter can become a Champ with match making and floyds resume is proof of that

Floyd is 2nd beat compared to the man
