He's a great fighter. Unified champion. But there's still a lot of things he can work on to further his career. Luckily he acknowledges that.

So losing a VERY close fight to a P4P #2-5 by decision. And then getting TKO'd late in round 8 makes that fighter a dog SHT??? WHO is NOW P4P #1???

Man I dont get you casual fans...That sht hurts BOTH fighters.

True! EVERYONE knows I defended Ward on the 1st fight. I had him losing but was a VERY close fight. NO F'n robbery... But now have they POS casual fans have Kovalov losing to EVERYONE at LHW.

So WHAT he can't beat the P4P #1. I still would bet $$$$$ If odds right against any OTHER LHW. Including the "Windmill"

Some fighters lose their confidence and motivation after suffering their first loss. We'll see what Kovalev is really made of.

Respect regained for Kovalev. Always liked him, glad tonhear him acknowledge Ward is better and that he needs to improve to beat him.

Cruiserweuhjt is tough. He's really a 185 lb fighter, too bad there isn't a 185 lb division.

yea, we are not on the same page regarding Kovalev/Ward, but I agree with most of what you have said in this thread

I would love Kovalev/Stevenson, and I wouldn't bet a dollar on that fight

Ward barely sc****d past Kovalev in the first fight..... and whilst I always said that Ward was underdone, and that he will make better adjustments, I knew that Kovalev would be right there

I still have him a solid #2 at LHW, over Stevenson..... but that fight is hard to pick..... Kovalev would need a real tight game for 12 rounds, if Stevenson hits him flush like Ward did, it's goodnight

He's gonna have to ditch Duva if he's going to make anything...she really shafted him with money last week.
