I'm not one of you guys that pledges loyalty. Don't let me stop you from continuing on your little hate parade though.
As do I - I'm actively choosing to call a spade a spade in this instance and not following some against-the-grain tactic. I have looked for the good and the light in Wilder's career for a while, but enough is enough.

But anywho, back to the point at hand - how on earth could AJ fight Wilder when he's got contractual obligations elsewhere? People praising him for making social media callouts - even though he failed to back it up with a microphone in his hand - seem to be oblivious to the fact that AJ-Wilder cannot be made right now.

He can fly anywhere he wants, as you alluded to - but that doesn't mean he gets to jump the queue and be bigger than legalities.

To be fair, Wilder tried to fight Povetkin and Povetkin blew it, but there is no excuse for not at least trying to get another strong opponent into the ring. Wilder should fight Ortiz, Browne, Parker or Pulev, just to prove that he even should be mentioned in the same breath as Joshua or Fury.

He got the physical tools, but he lacks confidence in his own skills.
Ortiz I agree, but Browne got popped for PEDs twice (same as Povetkin), Parker turned him down, and Pulev is the IBF mandatory (Wilder is WBC).

Misguided post imo. There aren't any big names for Wilder to fight next. They're all busy with other fights.

Despite all the proclamations, HW is weak. The only fight for wilder that gets him respect pays peanuts and is most dangerous, and that's Ortiz. He should take Whyte fight, build a name on UK, then fight AJ in the spring.

I'm all for Wilder v Povetkin or Pulev instead of Whyte but if those fights don't happen and they won't, Whyte is the next best opponent.

No, a middle aged, slow, two punch Ortiz is not, stop hyping the old cheat. Heck, I'd even take Chisora in the shape he was last fight but a STiverne rematch or yet another journeyman? Is that going to be better for Wilder?

          This is just getting ridiculous.
why??? who the hell has he defeated?

Wilder wants to fight the best. Dillan Whyte is the same level as the bums he been fighting.

This is why boxing fans are ******ed. Wilder fights Whyte it's another bum on his resume . Wilder doesn't fight Whyte he's a cherry picking hype job.

**** these lames. You can never please them. Keep putting pressure on Joshua and Parker and try to achieve your dreams on becoming undisputed champ.

That was undoubtedly his best platform to put himself forward as the guy for Joshua to face but it just didn't happen.

I'm not trying to say that it's evidence that Wilder doesn't want Joshua by the way, just that you really cannot say that he does just because he's mentioned him a fair few times. Talk is cheap.

Do totally agree with you about Whyte btw, and if instead he fights someone better than Whyte then he'll deserve some recognition for that.
When he's in the broadcast booth, he's not on open-mic hour. He expressed his intentions every time some interviewer put a cam in front of him, and even told Bellew he wasn't interesting in little fight like him, he wanted AJ. You're hyperfocusing on the broadcast in hopes to prove a point when that's the worst way to prove it. That wasn't an interview, that was commentary.

That's what I think too. Whyte puts bums in seats in the UK. Whether you believe he's rubbish or not, he's pretty entertaining and can help Wilder reach a wider audience.

How many great fighters are out there to fight? AJ, Wilder, Wlad, and everyone else is on the same level IMO.

Dyllan Whyte is a Fres Oquendo, Manuel Charr or a Mariusz Wach type of fighter a Sam Petter type of fighter -- Mariusz Wach is even better to be honest ; Sam Petter actually did something in the sport...but these clowns want to see Dyllan ****ing Whyte!
