  • Wilder has lost a fan

It's getting embarassing now. I used to support him, but almost 40 fights and he has fought no remarkable opponents. They're talking about Dillian Whyte now, who is an okay boxer, but not more than that. To be fair, Wilder tried to fight Povetkin and Povetkin blew it, but there is no excuse for not at least trying to get another strong opponent into the ring. Wilder should fight Ortiz, Browne, Parker or Pulev, just to prove that he even should be mentioned in the same breath as Joshua or Fury.

He got the physical tools, but he lacks confidence in his own skills.

Same here, i supported that guy before he was even a champion. Im just tired of his talk and no action at this point, he always acts like hes the best and talks like it. but never fights anyone. has had the belt for over 2 years and still hasnt fought a legit contender.

Aj had the belt for less than a year and faced wlad. time for wilder to step up.

There's a ton of Wilder haters on here bashing him because he DOESN'T want to fight Whyte, because Whyte is mediocre. I'm telling these fools that Wilder will get criticized if he fights Whyte and this thread is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.

Parker's fight is delayed while Hughie takes a tune-up. But, Parker won't fight him. Wlad is 50/50 about AJ and I'm sure Wilder will step up if Wlad decides to retire.

Yeah, one can't even show support for him in public anymore, everyone knows he is staying away from the hard fights. He is one of the most pathetic champs ever.

The moment Wilder fights a good fighter, then my respect for him will return, but at the moment, he's only fighting bums like Golovin did before fighting Jacobs...

Whyte is shyt it begrudges me however that Whyte would be a perfect opponent to sell himself to the UK casual fan base and clamour for a potential Wilder AJ match up. I honestly believe Wilder lacks confidence in his own abilities, ain't no other explanation. Take Parker for example going the UK to build momentum to face Bellew then AJ, that's what Wilder lacks, belief.

                Based on what?

btw 'haters' is bandied around like theres no tomorrow these days, he's widely criticised and is a laughing stock...and rightly so.

What's the problem with not wanting to fight whyte? fighting a bum and fighting whyte is the same.

Parker doesnt want to or just cant. Fury doesnt want to or just cant. AJ doesnt want to or just cant. Wladimir is too old and has lost his invincibility aura, he would get no credit. Povetkin ****ed up the fight.

Whyte? why? if wilder wants to, ok, but if he doesnt want to, ok too. Not that whyte is a good fighter anyway.

If you jump off a bandwagon you can't do it til he's lost or looked bad in his fight a day or two ago, maybe a week at most or if you are THAT disgusted til an official opponent has been selected & scheduled for his next fight. Can't ditch the Windmill Wilder caravan just cuz talks are happening. Thats against the bandwagon rules bro.
