If Pacquiao can't do record breaking Views then WTF! Should be BIG Numbers! I don't know about 10 Million but Big Numbers at least 3-4 Million Minimum should be the realistic number. I'm rooting for it to do good because if it does that is a WIN for Boxing IN GENERAL then who knows maybe Fox/Fox Sports as well as NBC/NBC Sports will be the next to make the investment into show more boxing!

I don't know how rating work, but it will be the highest rated fight on regular tv in years. It's Pacquiao. Even if his PPVs don't get the same guys anymore they still get a lot compared to other fighters. If Garcia/Thurman was on Ppv it wouldn't have had more than 350k buys.

ESPN announced that the Pacquiao-Horn fight will be also streaming live on the ESPN app.

Does streams also count as views?

I'm hoping it does well but my optimism is tempered. There's very little hype on Pacquaio these days -- he just about completely drifted off the radar after losing to Floyd. There's been minimal promotion for this fight since they didn't even announce the frigging platform until like a couple of weeks ago. And his opponent is completely unknown, too.

Maybe it does really well all things considered but I'm not gonna get my hopes up on that.

By the way has ESPN even been running a commercial for it? Surely they have, right? I need to watch me some Sportscenter this week and see how much time, if any, they're spending on it.

"Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum from Top Rank, revealed on Wednesday that a television audience of about 95 million will be watching in the US — the largest since Muhammad Ali fought Leon Spinks in 1978."

ha ha I think Arum was misquoted here.
