Kov fought well however made 2 big mistakes.............

Ward isn't known as a big puncher however he's still a LHW. Kov protected upstairs pretty well but he let Ward tee off to the body. If you let anyone rip to your body with impunity you are going to gas out. That was the first mistake not protecting himself from body shots. The second mistake Kov made was his high work rate in terms of throwing a lot of hard shots. If you have a high work rate you very the speed or you'll gas out which he did. When you combine those two elements together Kov got knocked out as you would expect.

The last one was a low blow obviously but is there a rule saying that if your bent over at the time of a low blow you won't get recovery time? Are you allowed to aim at their balls if their hunched over like that?

The ref should have given some kind of indicator to viewers and kovalev he was in danger of being stopped. The stoppage was out of blue. I was expecting point deductions or warnings to ward. If not warning to ward a warning to kovalev for play acting.

Kov was tired but that wasn't a good reason to stop fight.kov could defend himself just not against constant low blows.
The fight was even. The eighth round was clearly a good ward round. 9 the round would have likely been a good ward round.10th round kov has his second wind and drops ward's.
