Ward can beat anyone. Throwing a good combination right to the balls.

It is possible that Ward could beat AJ, but highly unlikely. AJ is too big with too much power. His arms are like freakin tree trunks. Even punches Ward blocks would do damage because of the size difference. It would be perfect if Povetkin had a belt. Oh well, Ward should fight Superman next, or maybe get an easy tune-up first.
You never really know though, a win over AJ and everyone would be talking about how Ward stacks against the all time greats. Still, as a betting man, I would put money on AJ no matter the odds.

If Ward goes down from Kovalev's punches then I don't want to see what Joshua would do to him. Ouch...

Heavyweight is asinine, but I'd be interested in seeing Ward against a couple cruiserweights that moved up from light heavyweight, primarily WBC Emeritus Champ Tony Bellew and WBA Regular Champ Beibut Shumenov. Those are winnable fights for him, but he should steer clear of the mini-heavyweights at that weight class like Lebedev, Breidis, Gassiev, and Usyk. Just too big.
With that said I'd be much more interested in Ward continuing at light heavyweight against Stevenson, Beterbiev, and even Kovalev III. Plus maybe Golovkin finds his way up to a catchweight between 168 and 175 soon.
