I can’t believe this fantasy fight is even being entertained. No matter how good Ward is (I personally believe he’s P4P #1) a fight with AJ would be the biggest mismatch in boxing history. I seriously believe AJ can kill him in the ring.. Ward will literally die! This is ******.. Look at this pic! Ward's previous best opponent was Carl Froch who is slightly bigger than Ward but look how he’s dwarfed by AJ.



Try and imagine him trying to clinch him.. lol. He can’t hurt AJ whereas every punch AJ throws will hurt Ward. Even if AJ only landed 3 punches a round Ward still wouldn’t make it to the final round.

All eyes are firmly on Joshua in the boxing world now, however ward again has proved he's #1. Hunter is just getting to extra publicity for his man thats all imo. Article gets plastered in the UK papers and casuals get to read it end of.

However if he did had A fight with Joshua, it would be extremely dangerous and would put a massive risk on Wards health. I mean look what happened to Brook, got his eye smashed in, and then the other one in the next fight. Khan got ktfo badly, RJJ was never the same etc etc etc.

Cruiserweights try and take the jump to heavy and most of them fail, A smw jumping to heavy and taking on the biggest man is madness in my eyes.

Your point about te UK can't be overlooked. I think we'll see a Bellew fight at Cruiser or HW in the future in the UK.
