I agree with Duva, but nothing will come of it. I salute Ward for the win, but it's always something with him, and he always gets by with it. Either headbutts, low blows, grabbing, you name it. He definitely has some serious talent, but throwing the fouls in there takes away from it. He really doesn't need to do it IOW. It will be interesting to see how much of that riff raff Stevenson puts up with if they fight. My guess is ZERO.

A dq has to be intentional... a fighter is not allowed to crouch to avoid punishment which makes the last blows legal.
Kovalevs will was broken. He was playing it up to buy time becuase he was wobbled from the right. Kovalevs will was broken and his right hand was taken away. He was it with haymakers multiple times from round 3 on and was puzzled. Kovalev was the only one wobbled in the fight. Which was the excuse about the last fight cuz he dropped Ward. Now that evaporated.

You guys say anything to protect your fighters, it's disgusting. Kovalev is still a good fighter, he wasnt prepared for a man who couldn't be broken mentally- because he's been too talented for most. No shame in that.

It was an ugly fight, fouls by low blows, and fouls by punches to the back of the head etc. However, what is clear is that anytime these two meet, it would be an ugly fight because it's beneficial to Ward. Kovalev can not fight on the inside! Kovalev does not respond well to body shots. Shots to his belt line make him fold over! I think that after these two fights, fighters will use this blueprint to beat Kovalev. JDJ, if he still has a job, must address this (and stamina issues) ASAP! Lastly, Andre Ward is not an entertaining fighter! He has won 2 controversial fights, and I will never pay to see him fight unless he fights GGG or Joshua! NO MORE ANDRE WARD PPVS!

Duva/Kovalez should can the whining and take a page out of the Hearn/Froch playbook..Ward beat Froch easily but because Froch has a more appealing style,he went on to be in much bigger fights over the next several years.Kovalev vs Beterbiev/Braemer/Stevenson would be more entertaining than just about anyone Ward fights next..I'm from Oakland and root for Andre but styles make fights and Kovalev has a more watchable style.

Andre was very sharp last nite accurate with that right hand after his precision shots to the cup! Body shots are one thing but nut shots are a whole nother animal ! That last nut shot was blatantly low and would have taken the Mustard outa King Kong .

Just like the rigo fight when the ref said the illegal punch was legal hahaha

I guarantee you if the shoe had been on the other foot both the Mex and Kov would have been disqualified !!
