I have to agree with this. For casuals this is more of a draw, but the way I see it is it's karma for Oscar and GGG, I'm not going assign blame for any of them, but they let the fight drag on and on....now look.

      Biggest nonesense I've read.
If anything the GGG/Alvares will become even bigger.
Oscar is just laughing at these ridiculous prognostications.
As soon as the circus is over, it will become a mere blip,
then fans will start looking for real fights.
In fact, the circus will even be used to promote the superfight of the year.
I can just imagine the humor behind it and how fans got ripped off.

        You don't believe that yourself.

            Yep, sadly it will.

That's why they chose the unusual date because they want to get in there first.

Tell me exactly the significance of the date.
Why casuals would prefer it over another date.
              Educate me.

if floyd conor was an exciting fight then it might help but we know that wont be the case and people arent giong to want to spend more money on boxing for awhile until they recover from their dissapointment

Hope you won't disappear when GGG/Canelo is just a week away.
You'd be shocked how big the GGG/Canelo would be.

Because kids are off school and people usually are in holiday/vacation in august

They're expensive months for people where most yearly plans are made. From a maximising your profit standpoint it doesn't make sense to put a PPV on then hence why promoters never put PPV's on in august.

But they have this time solely to beat Canelo-GGG

Bro, quit this nonsense about kids being off to school, etc.
It's a Mexican holiday. End of story.
And what have I been missing? Did Oscar given up their original date?
