        That is very true.

Right now the FloydMac fight is all smokescreens and mirrors as they say in magic....till the final bell when reality sets in and people are saying WTF was that crap.

This. GBP is to blame. "Canelo wasn't ready for Golovkin last year".

It depends on the result. If Floyd clowns Conor like I expect then it will help boxing, which will push more casuals to buy the Canelo fight. Also its two weeks later isn't it?

I would pick Canelo/GGG over a circus fight.
It's a no brainer. Why is every floyd fan on vindictive tone?
They seem happy the biggest boxing match is overtaken by a circus fight.
                  True boxing fans, indeed.

It won't steal anything if anything it MAY bring more attention to boxing wheather you like the McGregor / Mayweather match . Why ?Because more casual boxing fans and fans of MMA might consider watching an ACTUAL legit boxing match .

It MAY also change the way boxing drags its feet on matvhes everyone wants to see ,if ppl are going to tune in to see spectacle fights why not do the relevant fights much quicker ,too many times in boxing we never get too see two guys fight when at their peak .

Most are still going to tune into the GGG /Canelo fight ,no spectacle fights would change that.
