I have been following the sport for a while, I have been in the gym for a decent amount of years, I never heard about something like that, including local events, except from Floyd hiring Ariza.



So I had OBVIOUSLY to bring up Floyd, like it or not.

Maybe there are others exemples then let me know.

I do think Floyd has been a great exemple of skills for fighters but also a very bad exemple when it comes to behave like a man.

I don't like Floyd as a person and don't have too, and I don't speak that much about him, but dude is still in boxing news and is part of the making of what could be the biggest joke of a fight in all boxing history.

What you think about Floyd is irrelevant to the thread discussion topic. I doubt you know Floyd well enough to dislike him as a person but telling us you don't respect him has nothing to do with the thread topic. What you think about a Floyd/Conor fight is not connected to the thread topic either.

Its disappointing to see this from you. I may not always agree with you but always thought you were a solid poster that was above this type of stuff.

Yes, when valid points are made. That was my honest reaction to your post, I just have always thought more of you so I just commented as I did. When I saw J0zef's post thought that was far more egregious than your post.

And hell man, we can relate Floyd to this since he did the same thing in the biggest event in boxing history (money wise).

He doesn't have to be an exemple, he's a free man.

But, still, people are looking at him, especially young men and kids from the inner city.

And I'm not sure about Floyd being the good exemple he could/should be.

I dont know, I dont read that much into it. Just seems like a weak attempt at gamesmanship, and trying to get inside Kovalevs head as the fight gets closer.

Not much different than the "oh I might retire" or other nonsense that has come from that camp in the past........

Whether it was gamesmanship or a serious attempt to lure JDJ away from Kovalev, the way I look at it is .. if you are confident of winning, why resort to stunts like this?

Pretty much different, but nice try.

We are not talking about sports with a 2016-2017 season, we are talking about a sport where fighters, despite being injured, fights twice a year.

So trying to hire a head coach in a combat sport for a rematch is a pretty much different move and a puss move.

If I was Ariza for exemple, I would be ashamed.

How can you pass X camps, years with a great fighter like Manny, then train another guy to HURT that same philipino guy you worked with for years?

Unless Ariza has legitimate reasons to hate Manny, he's a sht person and a traitor IMO, not just some random guy switching companies.

It appears you have some unresolved anger and resentment toward Ariza for accepting an offer to join Floyd since Floyd beat Manny by such a wide margin.

I don't know if a thread about the move Team Ward made with JDJ is the best place to vent that unresolved anger so I will simply leave this alone.

I can understand not liking this move. I cant understand anything else you've posted.
