Offensively that was an awful showing from both sides. Pac was hesitant, and Floyd could've easily done better given his skillset. But that's what happens when nobody wants to make any mistakes.

Floyd nullified whatever pac could offer though, disrupted his rhythm all throughout the fight and ultimately landed enough and more to win it.

Nobody was dominating offensively, but defensively floyd was in control. So that on its own is already amazing feat since nobody can do that or did that even to that semi-past prime pac.

But Pac fans has nothing to bitter about, Floyd milked that fight and waited when it should've happened 5 years ago. Arum didn't want it, didn't trust pacquiao enough to beat floyd and his numbers would significantly decrease if he loses. Floyd didn't want to go out and risk a lost against prime pac even if that fight was winnable, and advisers probably telling him it's still could get a lot bigger. and it did.
He waited until pacquiao could no longer KO the algieris and struggling with the bradley's of the world.
the reason the fight was still big because most casuals just couldn't see right thru the hype. That pac was already on the decline. That he was already hesitant. Could no longer throw 600 punches per fight. That his explosiveness was already reduced since getting KTFO by marquez.

If for all who think manny wasnt doing anything in the ring against floyd cause he didnt throw a ton of punches like he normally does....there is a golden rule when you box someone like floyd....dont play his game. Floyd wants you to throw wasted punches. Manny studied floyd pretty smart imo cause a smart fighter knows when you got a runner who plays defense dont waste punches or your gonna punch yourself out. That is what floyd banks on saving his best punches when he sees the other is tiring out from all the punches that went nowhere. He had no choice to run, hug, headlock and all from manny....he wasting wasting a lot of his punches.

But if your tied.....you cant recoil.

There is many reasons why boxing is dying as a sport of honorable pugilism and gone to $$ only. Whats a better way to make money then have a flawed boxer go lossless in hopes he will get knocked out? Nothing. Its a TMT and mgm money maker since blth are in league together. Floyd is a promoter. Makes the stipulations to fight him. He was even shown with the crazy negotiations for this fight to happen which took many turns cause of his off stipulations. Facts.

The deeper you dive into the history of this fight, floyd as a fighter ( remember he is only lossless when became a paid pro, he got 6 losses as an amateur) and how the way the boxing scene is been set up over the last 7 years you will see why folks are pissed, why he catches a lot of negative feedback from fans of boxing , and also...most folks dont flack him especially certain ex boxers and celebs cause they placed high wagers on the fight in favor of floyd. If you look at the percentage of who was gonna win the fight before the fight and during....Pac was then the odds on fav. So whoever bet floyd would bank big time. Its a lot of ****ery with this fight so before casting opinions on either side fighters, look at it from a different perspective then the true conclusion will unfold.

I was rooting for Pac but the bastard wouldn't throw his hands and he let Mayweather take the fight. It wasn't domination or any of the other childish things people say but it was a clear loss. Pac didn't go after it and people gotta live with that.

While I do think that Floyd is the beneficiary of basically receiving any and every round that's a close round -- he automatically gets the benefit of the doubt in those rounds because he's Floyd Mayweather Jr. -- that's the truth folks, that said, everybody and their momma knew that going in.

If you wanna get rounds from Floyd, they better f**king be clear rounds.

You got ZERO chance fighting Floyd being cautious and hesitant, which is exactly how Pacquiao fought.

I guess I was deluded because I truly believed that Pacquiao would go for it and take risks...but he didn't.
